Mahseer Fishing Tour

Duration : 2 Nights / 3 Days

This is a specially designed angling tour on the Ramganga River. The trip involves assisted angling with a fishing guide, by the Ramganga River with back up jeep support. It is a short break for anglers on a tight schedule.

Day 1 : Arrival Corbett Tiger Reserve
Arrive at Tiger Camp by noon. We would transfer you towards Riverine Woods in a 4WD.
Today we fish around Rani & Amdai row the upstream section of our beat and time permitting Panbhara Row. It is also an excellent opportunity to see birdlife and wildlife of the area. Overnight in Riverine Woods.

Day 2 : Ramganga River
After an early cup of tea we head downstream and ford across the Ramgnaga twice casting as we go. Today we'll be fishing in the Charidhunga Raw, an A1 pool where numerous big catches close to 70 lb have been reported. In the latter half of the day fish at Gauchi Raw. Just along the bend is a dense patch of Jamun where Tiger pugmarks are often found. Evening by the fire, bar-be-Que and dinner. Overnight in Riverine Woods.

Day 3 : Departure
Today we fish the upstream beat at Marchula once the most popular fishing spot. This massive pool is home to massive Mahseer and Goonch. Two years back one of our guests had hooked a shocked Terrapin. Later in the day we will fish the pool below Baluli another promising pool. As the afternoon approaches we will drive back to Tiger Camp. Depart for return / onward destination.
